Shul Bulletin: July 2016
A Grand Kiddush will be sponsored by Norman and Bernice Colten on Shabbat Korach, July 9,  commemorating the Yahrzeit  of his beloved father, OBM.

Mazel Tov to Rabbi and Mrs. Yosef Carlebach upon birth of new granddaughter, Zelda to children Mushi and Rabbi Zevi Greenwald !! Special Mazel Tov to proud (great) grandparents, Rabbi and Mrs. Joseph Blizinsky (Brooklyn, NY),  Rabbi and Mrs. Peretz Greenwald (Long Beach, California,) and Rabbi and Mrs. Mordechai Zvi Greenwald (Kfar Chabad, Israel).

A Shabbat Kiddush will be sponsored by Rabbi and Mrs. Yosef Carlebach celebrating the birth of new granddaughter, Zelda Greenwald.   Kiddush will be held on Shabbat Chukat, July16.  All are invited!   Mazel Tov!

Mazel Tov to  Rick and Robin  Schottenfeld  upon the recent Bar Mitzvah  of beloved son Max,  in Jerusalem and Hevron, Israel, on Shabbat Naso, June 18th.   May you merit to have much Nachas in days and years ahead !

A new summer Torah Study Program (for 5 weeks) will be launched by Rabbi Moshe Carlebach.  Program will feature an in-depth study of Reppen Kashrut,  ie What makes something Kosher? What is a Kosher Kitchen? Why Keep Kosher? and a deeper understanding on this very crucial area of Jewish life.  Join us for 5 Monday evenings, starting July 4, till August 1.

A new “Shalash Seudas” Meal and Torah Discussion takes place every Saturday evening after Mincha in our Daily Chapel.   Men and women invited to attend.

Our Shul celebrated a wonderful Shavuot Service with more than 75 children and adults !!  Special Yasher Koach to Rabbi Moshe Carlebach for his energetic work in reaching so many couples and families, and to so many community people who came to Shul!
Sincerest Condolences to Bernice and Norman Colten upon recent passing of beloved sister Evelyn Seinfeld, OBM.   
May you know only of Simchas in days and years ahead.

Sincerest Condolences to Pam Berkowitz and entire Berkowitz Family upon recent passing of beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Dr. Steven Berkowitz, OBM     May Hashem comfort you amoung mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

A Refuah Shelaima, Get Well Soon wish to Dr. Susan Ickow, Susan Epstein, Dr. Dennis Sternberg, and our Rabbi Carlebach who were recently hospitalized.
