All invited to a Shabbat with Scholar in Residence, Rabbi Alex Carlebach from Johannesburg, South Africa. This will take place on Shabbat Shemot, January 2nd. Rabbi Alex will address us during the Shabbat Shacharit prayers and by the Grand Kiddush. Kiddush Meal will follow services. The Kiddush will be sponsored by Dr. Charles and Meryl Markowitz commemorating the Yahrzeit of Dr. Charles' mother, OBM. Kiddush is co-sponsored by Rabbi and Mrs Yosef Carlebach honoring the Yahrzeit of his mother, OBM. Come to Shul and be Inspired !
BY POPULAR DEMAND !!! The Shul will be starting a new Torah Study Group Series for 5 consecutive Monday evenings on Monday January 4th. Join Rabbi Moshe Carlebach every Monday night (for 5 weeks, ie Jan. 4, 11, 18,25, and Feb. 1) for an exciting and inspirational series "Pathway to Prayer". The Shul decor has been enhanced greatly by the installation of a new Ner Tamid - Eternal Light, dedicated by Joel and Sharon Glastein and family. In addition, new artistically themed Yahrzet Plaques have been installed and are being sponsored by the Jerry Zaro Family, the Daniel Schiff Family, and the Dr. Norman Einhorn Family

Our Shul has installed two of five) Yahrzeit Memorial Plaques in the Main Sanctuary in time for the High Holidays. These plaques which will be designed (on a similar theme to our 'Founders Wall') by world renowned artist Michoel Muchnik
The first Memorial Plaque is based on the biblical theme of "Abraham's Tent" and the second Memorial Plaque is based on the historical "Rachel's Tomb".
Dedication of each Memorial Plaque (with a large Dedication Plaque -listing the Donor Family) is now available for a contribution of $10,000.00 The individual Yahrzeit Plaques will be available to all Shul Members, and Families for a contribution of $500.00 per Plaque.
