Shul Bulletin: February 2015
Don’t forget to celebrate Tu B’Shvat, the 15th of Shvat.   This week on Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015.  Eat some fruit, especially some grapes, olives, pomegranates, or carob.  

Our Shul is going to be a busy place in the next  6 weeks.   Every Shabbat has been reserved for the next 6 weeks for a memorable event. Please join us for all or most of the upcoming events.

Mazel Tov to Hal and Amy Greenspan upon upcoming Bar Mitzvah of son, Isaac, on Shabbat Yitro, Feb. 7th. Shabbat Services to start promptly at 9:00 AM,  Shabbat Services in our Main Shul Sanctuary and the Shabbat Kiddush Luncheon Meal to follow, in the Founders Hall of the Hillel Yeshiva.  
 
All are invited to a Grand Kiddush on Shabbat Mishpatim-Shekalim, Feb. 14.  The Kiddush is sponsored by Bernice and Norman Colten, honoring the Yahrzeit of Norman’s beloved mother, OBM

All are invited to a Grand Kiddush on Shabbat Terumah - Feb. 21   This Kiddush is sponsored by Shlomo and Hedva Weiss in honor of Yahrzeit of beloved mother OBM, of Shlomo

Joel and Sharon Glastein invite all Shul Members and friends to Grand Kiddsuh on Shabbat Tetzave-Zachor, Feb. 28,
honoring the Yahrzeit of Joel’s beloved father, Isadore, OBM.

Dr. Olga Maimon and Family invite all Shul Members to the Bar Mitzvah Celebration of son Gary.   This Bar Mitzvah will take place in our Shul, Shabbat Ki Tisa, March 7, at 9:00 AM followed by a Grand Kiddush Luncheon Meal in our Social Hall.   Come and be part of a Wonderful Simcha!

RESERVE THE DATE!!  All are invited to a GRAND PURIM PARTY on Wednesday, March 4, at 6:30 PM    Watch for more details to come. Our Shul will be celebrating  a wonderful Family Shabbaton joining with the International “Turn Friday Night Into Shabbbat Campaign”.  We will host this Gale Event on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 6;45 pm (Candle lighting at Shul).   We will enjoy  a wonderful 5 Star Shabbat Meal on Friday night and on Shabbat Day.  The menu included assorted wines, Gefilte fish, Chicken soup,  Beef Flanken, and Kugels.   And a Special Delicious One-of-A-Kind Dessert!  The suggested contribution is $50 per person and $25 per child.  Look for more info soon, and invite your family and friends to join in this wonderful and joyous event!

 We need your help for the regular Monday and Thursday 7:00 AM Shacharit Services.   Please respond by email to rabbi@waysideshul.orgif you can commit ONE morning per month to help ensure our Shacharit Minyan.   It will be a great help to our Shul Family to ensure these services on a regular basis.
