Shul Bulletin: November 2017
SHUL NEWS: November 2017, Cheshvan-Kislev 5778

Our Shul Family has just celebrated a complete period of Yomim Tovim and we are privileged to see many new faces and people during the Tishrei Holidays.   Please try to keep the Sghul busy.   You are welcome every Shabbat, Sunday, Monday, Wednesday(night), and Thursday.   We look forward to greeting you.

Notice:   We will be switching to the “Winter” Schedule for Standard Time.  Mincha Prayers on Shabbat will take place after the Kiddush at 12:15 PM,   and Maariv approx. 10 minutes after Shabbat ends.   

Welcome Back to Rabbi Moshe and Chaikee Carlebach who are moving into their own home in our Wayside Community.  We are honored that you have chosen our Shul and area for your future, and wish you both much Success, Hatzlacha, and Nachas. Rabbi Moshe has already organized Shul Programs for young and old over the High Holidays.   

Rabbi Moshe is now instituting the following programs for the Fall-Winter Season.

1) Grand Kiddush Shabbaton on Shabbat Vayetze - November 25 (Thanksgiving Weekend) Featuring Guest Speaker Rabbi Alexander Carlebach,
Spiritual Leader of Congregation of Lyndhurst, Johannesburg, South Africa. All are invited!
2) Community Paint Night on December 3 (Chanukah themed painting with a professional artist) Time and place tba
3 ) Monthly Childrens Baking Institute; starting January 2018.
4 )Chanukah Shabbaton Shabbat Miketz - Chanukah, December 15 and 16 Reserve this date for a full course delectable Shabbat Meal and Guest Speaker.
5) Chanukah Workshop for Children of all Ages, Coming to you and located at Shoprite of Neptune, NJ
6) Communal Public Menorah Lighting at Town Hall, with our Township Mayor, Chanukah Music, and Refreshments.

Whether you attend Shul every week, month, or whether you come to a class, buy the bagels, visit someone in need, or even volunteer to water our flowers, all of the above make our Shul and Shul Family so special!   So, Thank You, and may we all be blessed with a Happy Healthy New Year.!!

Construction has begun on the Shul Lower Level restrooms, and Kitchens.   Come see for yourself how our Shul is expanding !  As the Shul moves forward, we invite every member to consider a gift to out current building.  You can dedicate items in perpetuity for yourself or for a loved family member.  .  Perhaps consider a Yahrzeit Plaque ($500.00), or a Lifetime Seat Dedication ($5000)  .  As the Shul expands, we must purchase additional Machzorim for the High Holidays.  Each Machzor can be dedicated for a gift of $40.
