Shul Bulletin: September 2014
Mazel Tov to Dr. and Mrs. Ira Baum upon recent marriage of beloved son

Sincerest Condolences to Sharon Glastein upon  passing of beloved mother, Mrs. Julia Cantor, OBM. May you and Joel, and your entire Mishpocha only know of good tidings in the days and years ahead.

Mazel Tov to Ilan and Susan Hirschfeld upon upcoming marriage of daughter Jennifer to Matthew.

On Shabbat Re’Ah - August 23, our Shul celebrated a wonderful Family Shabbaton in honor of our Yeshiva and College Bound children.  Close to 100 Shul Members came together and enjoyed a sumptuous full-course Shabbat meal on Friday eve, followed by a beautiful Kiddush Meal on Shabbat Day.  The food was great, the ambiance superb, and nobody wanted to leave Shul!   Keep your eyes open for the next Family Shabbaton at our Shul in the near future.

As the New Year approaches, please place your order for a Lulav and Etrog Set by calling the Rabbi at 732-922-0523

As the Shul is purchasing additional Machzorim for Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur and also purchasing additional Taleisim, plesae consider sponsoring a Machzor or Tallit in honor or memory of a loved one.   The price is $50.00 per Tallit or Machzor.  You can call the Shul Office at 732-922-0523 or email rabbi@waysideshul.org    Thank you in advance.

Yasher Koach to Dr. Susan and Michael Ickow for the beautiful Grand Kiddush, Shabbat Ki Tetze, in honor of Michael’s volunteer trip to Israel and his month stay,  aiding the Israel Defense Force (tzahal).

There will be a Children’s Program on Rosh Hashana (both days) from 10:30 till 11:45 am. At 11:45 the children will be invited to stand at the Bimah of the Shul for their participation in the Blowing of the Shofar Ceremony.  The Children’s Program on Yom Kippur will be held from 10:30 till 12:00 PM.

As we approach the High Holiday Season, we would like to install all the Dedication Plaques in our New Shul. Please call the Shul Office at 732-922-0523 or email rabbi@waysideshul.org if you wish to dedicate an item in the new edifice, or if you have not seen your plaque in the new building.

As the new school begins, we wish all  students much success in all their endeavors. Bring much Nachas to your proud parents, families, and yourselves.

We welcome back Michael Ickow  from his volunteer stay with the IDF in Israel, and Raizy Carlebach from her Birthright trip to Israel.
